In an interview before December 7 th , results show Austin Healey stated he felt he was probably going to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.  Austin was a strong contender throughout the series for 2008.  Each time he was on the dance floor, he was able to get the moves down and show the judges and audience he had what it took.

On December 5th , Austin was interviewed by It Takes Two.  On the show, he stated that he already had his things packed and was ready to be voted off the show.  During the week, he trained hard for the dance off, but he still felt the American Smooth and Salsa were not where they needed to be in order to win.  His confidence was down despite Erin Boag’s reassurance that the training and hard work could pay off.
