Rachel and Vincent performed their second dance next, with the Paso Doble to Europe’s track ‘Final Countdown’. Once again they were met by positive comments, although Len was disappointed with the lack of content. Arlene thought that the body language was absent and the couple were awarded a total of thirty two, giving them a total of seventy one. Up next were Lisa and Brendan with the Cha Cha and the judges were impressed awarding a total of thirty seven giving them a total of seventy six.
Christine and Matthew performed their second dance, the Salsa to ‘Cosmic Girl’ by Jamiroquai. The judges felt that the couple attacked the dance, and only Arlene had a bad thing to say when she felt that Christine lacked some ‘hip action’. The judges gave them a score of thirty points making their overall score a total of fifty eight.
Austin and Erin hit the dance floor with the difficult Paso Doble. In the training sessions Austin had said previously that he would enjoy playing the arrogant character that is portrayed in the Paso Doble and Craig picked this up in saying ‘Arrogant, full of attitude – I Love it!’ They were given thirty eight points and their overall score was seventy four. Last to perform were Tom and Camilla with the Samba and were met with negative comments. Len thought that it was repetitive and Craig felt the dance needed calming down. Bruno enjoyed the dance, and Arlene found it entertaining. They were awarded thirty five, giving them a total of seventy points.
Christine and Matthew were to leave, making them the eleventh couple to be eliminated.
