The ladies came out to strut their stuff and they left a trail of fire in their wake. Strictly Come Dancing has not had such wonderful first dances from the women in the whole of the series. The nerves were high from this group of performers, though, but it did not stop the first rate evening the audience was treated to.
Jessie was the epitome of a salsa dancer as was expected, and Cherie’s impeccable foxtrot had both her and her partner James roaring to the top. They have overcome last week’s winners by one point, so what can we expect for week three?
Vincent and Rachel were one of the reasons that the stage was so hot on week two. The erotic moves from Rachel made the audience swoon. Rachel’s fiancé was in the audience, looking on as she wowed everyone.
High kicks were the order of the night for Jodie as she extended her kicks to the stratosphere. Strictly Come Dancing has never been treated to the leg extension that Jodie gave us.
Gillian was sadly the first of the ladies to go and everyone was very sad. There always has to be a first, but Gillian was so excited to be paired with Anton. The duo just could not pull it off, so she was named the first. Her son was in the audience and he, of course, was disappointed.
Many of the contestants had family in the audience—from Moms and sisters—who were understandably proud. Next week, the men again get to show us what they have and it will be a long week of waiting.
